Scott Harsany
Owner/Chief Executive Officer
Scott Harsany founded Texas Advanced Cyber Technology. He has dedicated 32 years to the Technology business with Sperry, Unisys, Compaq Computers, Hewlett Packard, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. He has over 16 patents in technology, and he drove the creation of “The World’s Most Secure Industry Standard Server” at Hewlett Packard. He led software/firmware development inside Compaq, HP, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise for 20+ years, and he had a team of over 600 engineers in the US, India and Taiwan developing the software and firmware for the #1 selling ProLiant Server product line. Scott has a security clearance, has trained people on security all over the world, and has spoken extensively about security at conferences in the US, Asia, and Europe.
Scott spends his free time with his family including his new grandchildren. He dedicates focused time volunteering with organizations to help middle school and high school students explore Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) In this effort he co-invented a $14 educational board that allows pre-college students to discover programming, cyber security and robotics. The low cost allows school districts at any income level to acquire these valuable teaching tools.
Chuck Monarch
Senior Cyber Security Specialist
Chuck Monarch, Senior Cyber Security specialist. Software engineer with 25+ years experience in analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing of multiple enterprise-level applications driven from executive leadership directive, customer requirements, and R&D research. Excellent at working independently or as part of a focused team. Chuck has deep technical expertise on where vulnerabilities exist in designs and what needs to be done to properly fix them.
In his spare time, Chuck cheers on his Auburn Tigers and enjoys spending time with his family.
Mark Matson
Senior Cyber Security Specialist
Mark Matson, Senior Cyber Security specialist. Mark has over 35 years of experience in the computer and technology industry, including stints at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Compaq Computers, and General Dynamics, along with his own consulting business. He has specific expertise in software development, program management and delivery, and web design. Mark takes particular satisfaction in helping companies and/or teams to achieve their objectives, and sees security as not simply a set of tools and processes, but a mindset.
In his off-work hours, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and family, serving at his church, reading, camping, and good food.
Lance Campbell
Senior Cyber Security Specialist
Lance Campbell, Senior Cyber Security specialist. Lance is a former United States Marine with 25+ years of experience in the information technology industry. During that time he has managed data centers for several oil and gas companies. Tested data storage solutions, program managed a wide variety of hardware and software products, led data analytics projects, and managed a software engineering team in the computer manufacturing industry. He has led cross-functional teams in the US, India, and Taiwan, and has extensive knowledge in distributed systems, data pipelines, SQL and No-SQL databases, and machine learning algorithms.
In his rare free time, Lance volunteers for the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the United States of America. Hobbies include woodworking, camping, and fishing.
